Maybe you\’ve never heard of this animal, but there\’s a good chance you\’ve seen photos of them. They always have a smiling expression, so they are often called \”the happiest animals in the world.\” They are quokkas, about the size of a house cat, found only in some parts of Western Australia. Like many other animals in Australia (such as kangaroos), they have \”pouches\” in which they can carry their babies and raise them. This little animal looks lively and not afraid of people.
